Post eyr movies ideas here but be appropriate

Title: Miracle Rays

Characters:
Carl Crawford - Originally the best player on the team who betrays the Rays and leaves for Boston for more money.
Evan Longoria - The new best player on the team who gets injured and does not perform to expectations.
Casey Kotchman - A left-for-dead first baseman trying to recover from his sub-.200 batting average the previous year.
Dan Bleeping Johnson - A mediocre pinch-hitter who is not expected to perform much.
Joe Madden - A good manager stuck in a seemingly hopeless situation.
Desmond Jennings - A rookie who steps up to replace Carl Crawford.
BJ Upton - A very lazy player who wakes up towards the end.
Baltimore Orioles - A terrible team who plays a crucial part in the Ray's miracle run.

Plot:
Rays fall short their previous year despite the high expectations, and face a no-win situation. Some of their best players leave, only Carl Crawford promises to stay. However, Crawford pulls a ninja and leaves the Rays for their most bitter rival. People everywhere expect the Rays to come in last place. Rays lose their first six games to the season, and it seems like their predictions are coming true.

Boston meanwhile is blowing the lid off of the division and keeps winning games. New York tries to keep up, but is held back by inconsistent pitching. Rays slightly exceed their expectations by competing for the .500 record. Entering September, the Rays' situation looks hopeless. But then everything changes.

Two of Boston's best players are injured after doing an Irish dancing jig after a victory. An extremely old pitcher struggles in a quest for a milestone. Yankees take advantage of the situation and pull into first place. Rays' situation still seems hopeless as no team has ever comeback from a 9-game deficit in September. Boston however keeps struggling, and after a sweep of Boston, the Rays pull in within five games. By the final 10 games, Boston's lead is down to two games.

Boston has an incredibly easy schedule against the worst team in baseball and a team who they are 11-4 against. Rays have a schedule against Canadians and the powerful New York. Out of nowhere, Boston loses embarrassingly against the worst team in baseball, while the Rays have an equally bad series against New York. However, Boston continues choking while Rays manage to win against the Canadians. By now, most of the nation is rooting for the underdog Rays. Entering the final series, Boston has a one game lead. After Rays surprise against New York, they are tied for Boston. Boston wins the next day to keep the tie. Entering the final day, the Rays need to win. Things are looking bleak as Rays are down 7-0, and Boston has a one-run lead in the ninth. However, an untimely rain delay stops the game. Umpires at first want to call the game over, but the fans in Baltimore riot and umpires are forced to give Baltimore a chance in the final inning. Rays miraculously score six runs in the eighth to bring them within one run. After two outs in the ninth, Joe Madden follows his heart and decides to let a mere pinch-hitter take a swing. With two strikes, Dan Johnson ties the game with a home run. Red Sox are deflated just in time for the rain to stop and force them to play the final inning. With one strike away, Boston's extremely cocky closer gives up a double and then traitor Carl Crawford bounces the ball allowing Baltimore to win. Empowered by Baltimore's win, underperforming Evan Longoria hits a home run that completes Boston's collapse. Yankees fans in the ballpark hang their heads in shame but secretly cheer for the Rays. Boston, the team who was favored to win the World Series, completed an epic collapse and lost the division.

Evan Longoria's heroics net him some MVP votes. BJ Upton is rewarded for his hustle by the fans. Dan Johnson forever engraves his name in New England history with an expletive in the middle. Carl Crawford realizes that money cannot buy happiness. Joe Madden stares on in the dugout learning to never give up.

Half Alive

Year 2025. Anthony Herschel is a 12-grader living in Vermont. He is passionate, loves music and arts, and is very creative. He is very smart, he got a 2240 on the SAT and almost became the class valedictorian. He has a great relationship with his parents, and is very kind.

The country is at war with a nation in the Middle East. Republican candidate Roger Scully becomes the president after a close election, and Anthony fears that he will pass a mandatory service bill. He considers moving to Canada, but is urged by his peers to stay in America, as the passing of the bill is considered unlikely. Despite all odds, Roger Scully doesn't veto the bill and it becomes the law. Herschel is shocked, he is only a few months away from college. Being 18, Herschel is drafted, and because he is very fit, he easily passes the physical exam and is shipped off to training.

At training camp, Herschel discovers that way too many people have been approved, and it is short on space. Bribery is widespread. His sergeant is very abusive and beats up another Private. After several months of training nightmares, Herschel is sent to combat. He befriends Private Joey Litze, who has been in combat for a much longer time. Aside from Litze, the rest of his squad is
questionable, especially Private O'Haire, who happens to be a favorite of the sergeant. O'Haire causes a lot of trouble, going on violent rampages and killing innocent civilians. Herschel's creativity and passion has no place in the army, as he is intimidated and greatly hurt by the violence he sees. In a guerrilla ambush in the mountains Litze dies, leaving Herschel without any form of companionship. Herschel eventually joins a big fight by the Red Sea which lasts almost a week, during which thousands of other troops die. Fed up with the slow progress, napalm is ordered on the area. Several helicopters are sent for the troops, but not nearly enough. Herschel is lucky enough to end up on the final helicopter before the area is completely napalmed. Herschel receives severe burns from part of the napalm, strong enough to disqualify him from further service. Herschel escaped the war physically alive, but the war itself takes a strong toll on his mental health. His creativity, morality, and personality will possibly never be recovered.

DeathShark The Shark That Kills

A big, cheap CGI-shark with chainsaw fins attacks people for no reason with a poorly written MacGuffin.

Kim - Eye candy, probably played by Shanon Doherty with a wig or something
Gordon - Played by out-of-work actor Tom Selleck

[int. - Gordon's House]

Kim
GAH I'M A LOUD HOT BLONDE.

Gordon
I can see that, and they couldn't get Jeff Goldblum, so they hired me. You ready to shoot this awful SyFy feature film and collect our 25 dollar paycheck?

KIM
WHAT? I THINK JERSEY SHORE IS ON [said with very annoying inflection, like 'AWWWNN']

Gordon
...

[scene 35 - ext. ocean]

A massive 122 foot shark with JUTTING teeth, a fierce furled brow, and a pair of constantly-running chainsaws jutting EXPLODING out the side of it in place of fins. We see him demonstrating his flipping capabilities in the ocean for a couple of minutes and then we cut to footage from a Bruno Mattei movie with a ninja getting killed whilst a submarine is blown apart (trust me, this will look good post-production)

[scene 45 - int. some submarine or something]

Gordon
Looks like somebody bulls***ted the script in one drunken night.

KIM
YOU'RE THE WRITER.

Gordon
God I need money...
Oh right, you ready to trick the shark with the submarine or what?

Kim
Right, he'll follow us, then we'll make him crash into a big rock, or...something.

Gordon
And will most likely erupt in flames...underwater...
God I need money...

Senior Year - Rossi has barely recovered from his injuries, and begins wearing a red bandana to signify his pain. Anderson at first is very happy, but then is visited by Ricky Britton, who has just graduated. Britton tells  Using Ricky's advice, and his newfound popularity, Anderson begins turning into an ass. A sophomore named Kory likes the red bandana, and starts wearing it, which causes Anderson to beat him up. A freshman girl named Maria Quiban refuses Anderson's advances, so Anderson spreads a rumor to make her the most hated girl in school. Anderson tries to then violate Vita Nguyen, but even though she is physically weaker, she manages to defeat him by using tactical fighting.
